Terms
Last updated October 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Stand Scope, LLC, operating Stand Scope (“Stand Scope,” “we,” “us”), covering standscope.com, the free Probe Check tool, the audit and monitoring platform, our done-for-you service, and any other service offered on the site (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
If you subscribe to a paid plan or engage us for DFY or Agency Partner work, your use is also governed by the pricing and plan terms presented at checkout or in your signed agreement. Where these terms and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement wins.
Using the Service
You may use the Service for lawful business purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by scraping it, probing or attacking our systems, submitting false information, uploading malicious code, impersonating anyone, running Probe Check or an audit against a domain you do not own or have authorization to assess, or using it to send spam. We may suspend or block access that breaks these rules.
Measurement, not a guarantee
Everything the Service produces — Probe Check results, audit scores, composite metrics, monitoring charts, and remediation recommendations — is a measurement of how specific AI models answered specific prompts at a specific point in time. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, or professional advice, and it is not a guarantee that implementing a recommendation will change how any AI model describes your brand. AI model behavior changes over time and outside our control. Decisions about your business are yours.
Probe Check
Probe Check results are public by default — visible on our live feed and indexable by search engines and AI crawlers — unless you pay the stated one-time fee to keep a result private, either before or after the probe runs. Once public, a result may already be cached, indexed, or cited elsewhere before you pay to make it private; we cannot retract what third parties have already copied. Do not submit domains you do not control, and do not submit passwords, private customer records, payment information, or health information — the tool does not need them and you are responsible for anything you choose to enter.
Plans, billing, and DFY
- Starter, Pro, and Agency plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis as stated at checkout. Audit and monitoring allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over unless stated otherwise.
- Additional audit credits, Probe Check private-result unlocks, and other one-time purchases are billed at the stated price at time of purchase through our payment processor, Stripe.
- DFY and Agency Partner engagements are billed monthly as described in the plan you selected or the agreement you signed, and include the platform access stated for that tier.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial-period refunds except where required by law.
- We can change plan pricing and features on a going-forward basis with notice; changes do not apply retroactively to a period you’ve already paid for.
Results and case studies
Any case studies, score examples, or testimonials on the Service describe specific past results for specific brands. They are real, but they are not typical for every business and they do not promise what we will measure or achieve for you. Any guarantee we offer a customer is written into that customer’s plan terms or signed agreement and applies only on its terms.
Our content
The Service and everything on it, including text, design, logos, scoring methodology, and code, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the Service, share links to public pages, and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy, republish, sell, or build a competing service from our content or methodology without written permission.
Your content
When you submit a domain, business information, or other content through the Service, you confirm you have the right to submit it, and you give us permission to use it to run the measurement pipeline, deliver your results, and improve our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your business information, and we do not train models on your data without your explicit consent.
White-label and workspace features
Agency-tier customers may invite team members and clients into a shared workspace and configure white-label branding. You are responsible for what you share with, and how you represent the Service to, anyone you invite into your workspace. We are not a party to any arrangement between you and your own clients.
Third-party services and links
The Service links to and relies on services we do not control, including our payment processor, hosting provider, and the AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google) whose outputs the measurement pipeline reports on. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise the Service will be error-free, secure, always available, or that any AI model’s output will remain consistent over time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Stand Scope, LLC and its members, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, that arise from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, running an audit or Probe Check against a domain you were not authorized to assess, or information you submit that you did not have the right to share.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, you agree to email us and give us thirty days to try to resolve the issue.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service between you and us.
