This policy explains what information Stand Scope, LLC, operating Stand Scope (“Stand Scope,” “we,” “us”), collects when you use standscope.com, our free Probe Check tool, our audit and monitoring platform, and our done-for-you service, and how we use, share, and protect it. It also covers information we handle when you become a customer.

Who we are

Stand Scope, LLC is a California limited liability company. Our mailing address is 1308 E. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91106. For anything in this policy, email [email protected].

Information you give us

You may give us information when you run a Probe Check, create an account, subscribe to a plan, book a call, or work with us as a customer. Depending on what you do, that can include:

  • Your name, work email, company, and domain.
  • The domain and business details you submit to Probe Check, audits, and monitoring — we use these to run the measurement pipeline (technical scan, entity ingest, multi-model probes) against the brand you’ve told us to measure. Do not submit passwords, private customer records, payment details, or health information; nothing in the product needs them.
  • Payment information for paid plans, Probe Check private-result unlocks, and DFY engagements. Card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe; we do not see or store full card numbers.
  • As a customer, the workspace data, team member invitations, and white-label branding (agency name, logo, color) you choose to configure.
  • As a DFY or Agency Partner customer, any additional business context you share so we can run the engagement you hired us for.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site or use the platform we and our providers collect technical information such as pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location from your IP address, and device/browser type. We use:

  • Cloudflare, our hosting and CDN provider, which sees request-level traffic data as a normal part of serving the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and basic usage analytics. We do not run third-party ad pixels or ad-tracking cookies on the marketing site.

How Probe Check and audit data is used

Probe Check and audit results are generated by sending the prompts and site content relevant to the domain you submit to third-party AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google) so we can measure and report how those models currently describe the brand. Public Probe Check results are shown on our live feed and are visible to anyone with the link, including search engines and AI crawlers, unless you pay the one-time fee to keep a result private — private results are visible only via their specific link. Paid plan audits and monitoring data are never public.

How we use information

  • To run the measurement pipeline you requested — audits, Probe Check, and continuous monitoring — and deliver the resulting scores, reports, and remediation recommendations.
  • To provide and bill for your subscription, and to deliver DFY and Agency Partner engagements.
  • To send account, billing, and product emails, including monitoring alerts and drift digests you’ve opted into. You can opt out of non-essential email at any time using the unsubscribe link.
  • To operate white-label features for Agency-tier customers, including routing their own clients’ emails under a neutral or agency-branded identity rather than ours.
  • To understand how the platform is used and to improve it.
  • To keep our systems secure, prevent misuse, and comply with the law.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run parts of our business under contract: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (our database), Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, object storage), and the AI model providers we use to generate audit and Probe Check results (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google).
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants when needed.
  • Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, our users, or our systems.
  • A successor if we sell, merge, or transfer the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Agency-tier customers may see their own clients’ information when that client is invited into a shared workspace; that sharing is between the agency and their client, under the agency’s own arrangement with that client.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Account and audit history stay in our systems while there is an active subscription or a reasonably expected relationship. Closing your account deactivates login access; it does not immediately delete your historical audit data, since that data is also the record of work delivered. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see your choices below.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction, and deletion. Email us and we will confirm what we hold about you, fix it, or delete it, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Marketing. Unsubscribe from emails using the link in the message, or email us. We may still send messages needed to operate something you’ve subscribed to, such as billing receipts or monitoring alerts you’ve enabled.
  • Cookies. Control cookies in your browser settings. Our Cookie Policy lists what is set and how to control it.
  • California and other US state privacy laws. If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing. We honor those requests from any resident. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • Outside the United States. Our services are aimed at businesses worldwide, but our systems are in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our basis for processing is our legitimate interest in operating the service you’ve subscribed to, or your consent where we ask for it, and you can exercise your rights by emailing us.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. If you ask someone to make a request for you, we may ask for proof that they are allowed to.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We link to other sites and services, including our payment processor and documentation. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will say so on this page or contact you when we have a way to.
